The Opportunity

Position: Corporate Associate

This is a unique and intellectually stimulating full-time opportunity for a quick-thinking, detail-oriented person. In this role, you will provide first-class legal support to our corporate/commercial clients and excel at providing top-quality work while thinking independently. You will be client-facing and work on all aspects of our portfolio, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and governance. You will work with a full range of small businesses, multi-national corporations, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to corporate/commercial clients.

  • Manage mergers, acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and governance.

  • Work independently and think critically to provide top-quality legal services.

  • Engage with a diverse range of clients, including small businesses, multi-national corporations, and government agencies.

Qualifications

  • Must be a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick.

  • Must reside in the Province of New Brunswick.

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a commutable distance to one of our four New Brunswick locations, however, for the right candidate, this position can be structured as hybrid.
